☀️ Did you know that being outdoors in the sunshine, getting some steps in, and connecting with others is not only good for your wellbeing but also great for business? ☀️

This morning, I had the chance to do all three at once! I joined #CIPD HR and People professionals for a networking walk at the beautiful Ashridge House. It was such a great way to combine some fresh air, and meaningful conversations with like-minded independent business owners in our field. We shared insights, swapped stories, and made some fantastic new connections.

A huge thank you to the @thetroubleclub for another insightful evening! This time, we heard from Emily Austen, a PR specialist, entrepreneur, and author of Smarter.
Emily shared her entrepreneurial journey, starting at just 22 and now with 14 years of experience. One of the most thought-provoking takeaways was her perspective on vision boards. Emily mentioned that she’s never been a fan, feeling they often feel passive and lack a clear plan for achieving goals. Instead, she emphasized the importance of creating actionable steps. 👏
Emily also shared how hitting a personal milestone led her to re-evaluate her values. Which in turn, led her to set stronger personal boundaries. This resonated deeply with me personally, but also with @WANA Learning, as understanding your values and using them is key to maintaining balance and long-term success.
